APPLY FOR A HAMPER
Our annual Christmas Hamper Campaign has started.
You can register your interest to receive a free Christmas hamper for eligible people on low income. You can do so either:
Online - click on the 'Click Here' button on this page to take you to the online registration form between now and Wednesday, 29th October. Any online registrations made after this date will NOT be processed.
After completing the online registration, you will still be required to bring your documents to prove your identity, address and low income status, during the dates and times given below.
In-person – Come along to our premises with documents to prove your identity, address and low income, during the dates and times given below.
Date: Monday 27th to Friday 31st October 2025 (one week only)
Time: 10:00 am to 1:30 pm
Venue: Gateway House, John Wilson Street, London SE18 6QQ
Please bring original copies to prove your identity, address and low income (subject to meeting the eligibility criteria given below). You can show your proof of benefits online using your phone. All proof of address and benefits must be current and within the past 3 - 6 months.
You will receive the voucher to collect the free hamper only after your eligibility has been confirmed.
Below are some of the low-income eligibility criteria (persons on income above 2,000 per month are not eligible for an hamper):
If you are a registered charity supporting those who are in need, please send an e-mail to church@newwine.co.uk by Friday, 24th October 2025 to give an indication of how many hampers you would like us to donate. Please note that the final allocations might not match your expectations.
Kindly share this information with friends and family that you know are eligible, by copying and sending them the web address link to this page.
Please note that everyone who is eligible will need to come in person, including those who have received hampers in the past.
We do not take registrations by e-mail or over the phone. This means that if you do not come to Gateway House on the days and times given above, you will not receive a hamper.
Only one hamper will be given per household.

- Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit

- No Recourse to Public Funds
- Registered charity organisations helping those in need
