Meet the Speakers

Dr Ngozi Izuwah-Njoku

She is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
She completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK and has particular interests in early pregnancy complications, acute gynaecology, ambulatory gynaecology, labour ward practice, and general women’s health. A member of New Wine Church, she will be speaking on key women’s health issues including heavy menstrual bleeding, subfertility, and menopause, with a focus on helping women seek timely support and live well.

Mr Anthony Noah

He is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. His main expertise is in adolescent urology and adult congenital urology, complex urinary tract reconstruction and revision surgery. He trained at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine, with further surgical and subspecialty training across the West Midlands and University College London Hospital. His clinical interests include bladder dysfunction, benign prostatic enlargement, urinary incontinence, congenital urological conditions, and complex urological issues in pregnancy. He is also actively involved in medical education and is currently the associate clinical lead for the UCLH urology department.

Dr Itopa Fidelis Abedo

He is a Consultant Diabetologist and Endocrinologist at Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford, Kent.
His clinical practice focuses on diabetes, general endocrinology, and the medical management of obesity, with a strong emphasis on patient-centred care. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London.
Alongside his medical work, Dr Abedo is actively involved in church and community service. He serves as a pastor at KICC Chapel, Croydon, and has held several leadership roles within KICC, including in the Youth Ministry, Young Adults Ministry, and Hospital Visitation Ministry. More recently, he has coordinated the International Gathering of Champions Wellness Zone, an initiative dedicated to community health screening and connecting individuals with appropriate medical care.

Dr Chidi Uba

He is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford, a Fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, and holder of an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics.
He is the RCEM South East England Regional Chair and a highly respected clinician with extensive frontline experience in managing complex, critical, and time-sensitive medical emergencies.
Dr Uba’s work bridges emergency medicine, public health, and policy, combining clinical excellence with a strong focus on education, prevention, and long-term population health. He is also a sought-after public health speaker who has delivered numerous health promotion talks and seminars. His interests include acute emergency care, global emergency medicine outside the UK, health policy, preventive medicine, and lifestyle-based wellbeing.
He is the founder of PMS FIREdoctor, an initiative dedicated to health education, prevention, and informed clinical practice, and he is also a member of the Ushering Ministry.

Dr Desmond Owusu

He is a Consultant Radiologist with specialist interest in cancer imaging, particularly haematological and urological malignancies. He trained at Imperial, King’s, and The Royal Marsden, and brings a strong commitment to combining medical excellence with faith-based purpose. Raised in East London by Ghanaian parents, he sees faith and medicine as deeply connected, encouraging people to view health as part of stewardship, purpose, and disciplined living.

Dr Isoken Ogbeide

She is a Consultant Psychiatrist, Life Coach, mental health advocate, and author of Forgiveness and Reconciliation Detangled. With over 15 years of experience in mental health care, she is passionate about holistic healing, emotional freedom, and helping people reclaim peace through wisdom-guided forgiveness. Her work explores the connection between faith, mental wellbeing, emotional boundaries, and personal healing, encouraging individuals to move towards wholeness and resilience.

Dr Emeka Okafor

He is a Senior GP Partner at Apex Medical Practice, Strood. As an experienced general practitioner, he provides frontline community-based care and supports patients across a wide range of health needs.
His work reflects the vital role of primary care in prevention, early diagnosis, long-term condition management, and helping individuals and families make informed decisions about their health.

Mr Srijit Banerjee 

He is a Consultant Urologist at Darent Valley Hospital, specialising in general urology, renal stone disease, lower urinary tract dysfunction, and paediatric urological symptoms. . He obtained his medical degree in India in 2002 before completing specialist registrar training in the North London Deanery, with experience at The Royal Marsden and St Bartholomew’s Hospital.
He has expertise in a wide range of urological procedures, including rigid and flexible ureteroscopy, laser stone fragmentation, TURP, intravesical Botox, prostate cancer diagnostics, haematuria management, and penoscrotal surgery. He also has a strong interest in cancer diagnostics and was awarded an MD by the University of East Anglia for research into enhanced recovery for bladder cancer patients.

Dr Jason Amokpokpa 

He is a London-based General Practitioner with a strong passion for empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health through education. His experience as a GP and Lead for a PCN Cardiovascular Clinic has strengthened his commitment to prevention, cardiovascular health awareness, and sustainable lifestyle change. He is particularly passionate about helping people understand their bodies and take practical steps to improve their long-term health outcomes.

Dr Yvonne Abimbola

She is a portfolio GP Partner with specialist expertise in Dermatology. She works both privately through her business, Dr Eve Skin, and within the NHS.
Her interests include skin of colour, hair loss, mental health, and holistic care. Dr Abimbola integrates evidence-based medicine with lifestyle interventions and is passionate about serving others through her medical work, shaped by her Christian faith and commitment to compassionate care.

Dr Christina Olumese

She is a London-based General Practitioner with a passion for health education and empowering people to make informed decisions about their wellbeing. Her experience in general practice and as a lead for a PCN Cardiovascular Clinic has deepened her understanding of the importance of lifestyle change, prevention, and health awareness. She is committed to helping individuals understand health risks that can affect their wellbeing and to encouraging practical steps towards healthier living.

Mrs Janet Amadi-Osagie

She is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Early Pregnancy and Acute Gynaecology Emergency, and a Nurse Sonographer. She has a strong background in gynaecology day cases, endometriosis care, and recurrent miscarriage clinics. With about 20 years of nursing experience, she brings specialist knowledge, compassionate care, and practical expertise in supporting women through early pregnancy and acute gynaecological concerns.
